What size of business do you usually work with?
Most of our clients are small and mid-sized organisations, often somewhere between twenty and three hundred people, who run a mix of on-site servers and a handful of cloud services and want a plan that holds together.
Do we need to move everything at once?
No, and we would rarely advise it. Most migrations go better in stages, starting with the workloads that carry the least risk, so your team learns the new setup while the business keeps running.
Which cloud platforms do you work with?
We work across the major providers, including Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud, and we will recommend the one that fits your systems and budget rather than the one we happen to prefer.
How long does a typical migration take?
It depends on how much you are moving and how tangled the current setup is. A straightforward move of a few systems can take six to eight weeks, while a wider programme often runs across several months with clear checkpoints along the way.
Can you work alongside our existing IT team?
Yes, and that usually works best. We can lead the work, advise from the sidelines, or hand over documentation and training so your own people can run things once the move is done.
What happens after the migration is finished?
You will have documentation, cost visibility and a clear picture of what is running where. Many clients then ask us to stay on for occasional reviews, but there is no obligation to keep us around.
